The arean is is home to the Great Falls Americans of the North American 3 Hockey League.
The previous Great Falls Americans formerly of the Western Hockey League were based out of the Four Seasons Arena which was built in 1979 and used as an ice rink until 2005 when the arena was reconfigured into a multipurpose facility.
