Forest Lake Sports Center

The Forest Lake Sports Center is an indoor arena located in Forest Lake, Minnesota. The facility opened on October 1, 2008. The facility is owned and operated by the Forest Lake School District. The facility is part of a larger athletic facility which includes the arena which is actually named the Lichtscheidl Arena which is a year round ice rink. The facility also includes a fabric roof covered field house which is used dryland for turf sports during the spring and summer. It is converted to a refridgerated ice surface from October to mid-March. The facility is home to the Forest Lake Rangers High School boys and girls teams, the rink has been home to the Forest Lake Lakers of the United States Premier Hockey League since 2014. The larger facility is also home to the Forest Lake Area Athletic Association.
