Davecampbell

David Campbell (born April 27, 1896, in Lachute, Quebec) was a Canadian professional hockey defenceman.

Campbell played one season in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens.

Playing career[]

Cambell played two games for the Montreal Canadiens in the 1920–21 NHL season.

From 1913 to 1916 Campbell played for various teams in the Montreal City Hockey League (MCHL). After serving in the Canadian Army from 1916 to 1918 in World War I, Campbell rejoined the MCHL. He got into two games for the Canadiens in 1920-21.

In 1926-27 Campbell played for the 1926-27 Montreal Victorias team that toured Europe. He scored 26 goals in the 15 game tour. The next season he played 19 games for the Philadelphia Arrows.

He retired in 1928 and became coach of the senior Montreal AAA team.
