Gerard Dicaire (born September 14, 1982) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman.

He played junior hockey for the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League and the Seattle Thunderbirds and Kootenay Ice of the Western Hockey League from 1998 to 2003.

The Buffalo Sabres chose him 48th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft but he nver signed with that team and went back into the draft pool. The Tampa Bay Lightning then picked him 162nd overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

In 2003-04, Dicaire nearly made the Lightning roster and was one of the last cuts. Assigned to the Utah Grizzlies of the American Hockey League (AHL), he was the only Tampa Bay prospect on the team. He therefore saw little ice time.

In 2004-05 Dicaire was assigned to the AHL's Springfield Indians but missed half the season to surgery for boils on his back.

Dicaire competed in 2005 for a spot on Tampa Bay's roster. However he exprienced extreme fatigue. A medical examination revealed that he suffered a neurological disorder that affected his blood pressure. He played well that season with the Indians and the Johnstown Jets. However he retired at the end of the season in 2006.
