During the 2009-10 season, Breanne George scored a conference-high 28 goals and 18 assists for a league-leading 46 points in 24 games.
Playing career[]
In her freshman season of 2007-08, George appeared in 21 games. For the season, she registered 10 goals and eight assists. In addition, George accumulated four power play goals and three game winning goals, while posting a +12 rating.[1] In her sophomore season of 2008-09, George participated in 22 games while accumulating 15 goals, and 17 assists. Despite serving 27 penalty minutes, George was named to the 2009 Canada West Second Team All-Stars. The following season, George would enjoy a banner year. George was honoured as the 2010 Canada West Most Valuable Player.[2] In addition, she was a Canada West and CIS First Team All-Star. In twenty four games played, George finished the 2009-10 season with 28 goals scored and 18 assists.
