The Bosnia and Herzegovina Hockey League (BH liga u Hokeju na Ledu, BHL for short) is the top ice hockey league in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The league was established in 2002 and is organized by the Bosnia and Herzegovina Ice Hockey Federation. All three teams are based in Sarajevo and all games are played at the Olympic Hall Zetra, initially built for the 1984 Olympics.

History[]

Initially founded in 2002, the BiH Hockey League as a four teams league, the BiH was soon forced to put itself on hold as after the inaugural season, won by HK Bosna, three of the four teams were unable to continue. The league entered a six years hiatus before being resurected in 2009-10.
