Bill McDonagh (born April 30, 1928) is a former professional ice hockey left winger. He played four games in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers in the 1949–50 season.

He played Junior "B" for the St. Michael's Buzzers and Junior "A" for the St. Michael's Majors in 1947-48. McDonagh played four games for the New York Rangers in 1949-50, going scoreless.

After that season he played senior hockey, notably for the Fredericton Capitals from 1953 to 1957. In the 1955-56 season he was suspended for refusing to take the ice against the Saint John Beavers in a playoff game.

He played his last season for the senior Sudbury Wolves and retired in 1958.
