"Warriors" was the name of the sports teams of Loyola College, located in Montreal, Quebec. In 1975 Loyola College merged with Sir George Williams University to form Concordia University.
History[]
The Warriors played in the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Conference through the 1970-71 season, at which time the leagues operating in Ontario and Quebec were arranged along provincial lines. From 1971-72 onwards, the Warriors joined the Quebec Universities Athletic Association. They were also in the Canadian Intercollegiate Athletic Union (known as Canadian Interuniversity Sport from 2001 and U Sports from 2016) throughout.
Loyola also entered teams in the Montreal City Hockey League and the Junior Amateur Hockey Association, amongst others.
