History[]

The Montreal & District Senior League operated in the Montreal area for just one season (1941-42). It was rated as Senior B.

The teams were mostly former intermediate teams. The league had operated as an intermediate league in 1940-41.

The league suspended operations in 1942 because of transportation difficulties and the fact that many local hockey players were engaged in war work for World War II.
