1940-Shore-Americans

Eddie Shore played 10 games for the New York Americans in 1940.

On January 25, 1940, Eddie Wiseman was traded to the Boston Bruins for Eddie Shore. Shore played his first game for the Americans on January 30, 1940 during the 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Frank Beisler played his last of two NHL games during the 2-1 loss to the Boston Bruins on March 7, 1940.
