Erwin Kostner (Born April 7, 1958, in Bressanone, Italy) is an Italian former hockey player and current coach.

Internationally, Kostner played for the Italy men's national ice hockey team at the A, B and C Pool World Championships nine times. He also represented his country at the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo.

His club career lasted from 1975 to 1996. Kostner spent most of it with HC Gherdeina in the Italian Serie A, but also played briefly for HC Meran and HC Bolzano.

After the conclusion of his playing days, Kostner went on to become a coach. He coached the Italian U20 and U18 national teams from 2001 to 2008. He is currently the head coach of SHC Fassa in the Serie A. His previous club coaching stints include HC Thurgau, Ritten Renon, and HC Gherdeina.
