Edward Adrian Hoekstra (born November 4, 1937 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a retired professional ice hockey player. He played in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers and also played in the WHA with the Houston Aeros. He is the brother of Cecil Hoekstra.

He played junior hockey for the St Catharines TeePees from 1954 to 1958. In his first pro season (1958-59) with the Trois Rivieres Lions of the Quebec Hockey League he was named Rookie of the Year.

Hoekstra ended up with the Quebec Aces of the American Hockey League for six seasons (1962 to 1967) and his rights went to the Philadelphia Flyers when they bought the Aces. That led to his only NHL experience when he played 70 games for the Flyers and scored 15 goals and 21 assists.

He ended up back in the minors the following season. In 1972-73 Hoekstra signed with the Houston Aeros of the World Hockey Association. In one-and-a half seasons, Hoekstra scored 13 goals and 28 assists in 97 games.

1973-74 was his last season, split between the Aeros, the Macon Whoopee, and the Jacksonville Barons.
