The Eastern AAA Hockey League was a minor level ice hockey governing body. The league is a sub-division of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association in the Canadian Province of Ontario. The ETA playoffs are done in a best 3 out of 5 series. The final two teams advance to the OMHA Championships. It was established in 1990.
The league was merged with fellow OMHA member South Central AAA Hockey League to form the OMHA AAA Hockey League. As a result of the merger the league's playoffs would replace the former OMHA Midget AAA Playoffs and give the new league a true playoff champion as the old leagues would each have four qualifiers for the tournament to decide the Central Regional qualifier tournament for the National Championship event.

The winner of that tournament advancs to the Telus Cup Central Regional which involves the winners of the OMHA playoffs as well as the winners of the Alliance Hockey, Great North U18 Hockey League, Greater Toronto Hockey League, Hockey Eastern Ontario U18 AAA Hockey League as well as a host team which alternates between the four leagues.
