ECAC South was an NCAA Division III men's ice hockey conference which played from 1985 to 1998. The conference was formed when the ECAC Division III conference was split into three conferences (ECAC North, ECAC South, and ECAC West) when it had grown to 31 teams going into the 1985-86 season. The conference was further split when the ECAC Central was formed for the 1992-93 season.
