Doug Piper (born June 8, 1944, in Elrose, Saskatchewan) is a retired Canadian defenceman.

He played junior hockey for the Regina Pats, who were then a Montreal Canadiens' farm team, from 1961 to 1965. Piper then played in the Canadiens' minor pro system until 1969, when he was traded to the Detroit Red Wings for Peter Mahovlich.

Piper played for the senior Saskatoon Quakers in 1970-71 and then retired.
