David N. Thomlinson (born October 22, 1966 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a retired Canadian ice hockey left winger who played in the National Hockey League for the St. Louis Blues, Boston Bruins and the Los Angeles Kings.
He played junior hockey for the Brandon Wheat Kings and Moose Jaw Warriors and was chosen 43rd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. Thomlinson never signed with the Leafs and was picked up by the St. Louis Blues as a free agent in 1987.
Thomlinson spent most of his time in the minor pros, getting into a total of 42 NHL games, scoring a goal and three assists. He won the Turner Cup with the Peoria Rivermen in 1991.
He retired in 1998.
