David Clifford 'Dave' Salvian (born September 16, 1955) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who played in one National Hockey League game for the New York Islanders during the 1976–77 NHL season.
He played junior hockey for the St. Catharines Black Hawks from 1972 to 1975. The New York Islanders chose him 29th overall in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft while the Houston Aeros selected him 60th overall in the 1975 WHA Amateur Draft.
Salvian went with the Islanders and turned pro with the Fort Worth Texans in 1975-76. The next season he was called up for a playoff game with the Isles, scoring one assist. He spent the rest of his career in the minors, retiring in 1980.
