Danielle Bourgeois was an ice hockey player for the Alberta Pandas women’s ice hockey program from 2000 to 2005. Bourgeois became an assistant coach for the Pandas starting in the 2007 season. [1] Bourgeois is the all-time CIS leader in points (212) and goals (106), while ranking second all time in assists with 106, respectively.

Playing careerEdit

As a rookie in the 1999-2000 season, Bourgeois enjoyed a national championship. Of note, she scored one of the goals versus McGill in the CIS National Championship game. On March 14, 2004, Danielle Bourgeois and her Alberta Pandas participated in the CIS National Championship game. Bourgeois broke a scoreless tie at 18:56 of the second period. She would add an extra goal at 8:08 of the final period. It was the second consecutive tournament game in which she had scored two goals.[2] For her efforts, she earned the Sher-Wood player-of-the-game honours, was named to the all-tournament team and led the tournament in scoring with seven goals and one assist in three games.
