Daniel Patrick Kelly was an NHL broadcaster for HDNet and the Chicago Blackhawks on Comcast Sports Net Chicago. He previously was the first TV play-by-play voice for the Columbus Blue Jackets on FSN Ohio and also served as a radio play-by-play voice for the St. Louis Blues for KMOX. He is currently broadcasting University of Denver hockey games on Fox Sports Rocky Mountain TV. In 2010, Kelly began broadcasting games for the Chicago Fire S.C. of Major League Soccer on Comcast Sports Net Chicago.

Dan is the son of legendary St. Louis Blues broadcaster Dan Kelly, the nephew of hockey and baseball broadcaster Hal Kelly and the younger brother of current St. Louis Blues TV broadcaster John Kelly.

Kelly was let go by the Blackhawks after two seasons. The move was made in order to make room for Pat Foley, who had been their play-by-play broadcaster for the previous 25 seasons, and had been let go in an unpopular and controversial decision. [1]
