The Copper Cliff Redmen were a junior team. They played under the Northern Ontario Hockey Association.
In 1936-37 they played in the senior level Nickel Belt Hockey League (see 1936-37 Northern Ontario Senior Playoffs) and the Southern Section of the 1936-37 Northern Ontario Junior Playoffs. They won the junior playoffs and the 1936-37 Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs and went on to lose the 1936-37 Memorial Cup Final to the Winnipeg Monarchs.
They played in junior B in 1941-42, losing the semi final.
From 1945-46 to 1947-48 the Redmen played in the senior Nickel Belt Hockey League again because of the lack of local junior opposition. In each year they entered and lost in the Northern Ontario junior playoffs.
The Redmen went on to lose the final in the 1950-51 Northern Ontario Junior B Playoffs.
