Chris Korchinski (born October 1, 1985 in Rama, Saskatchewan) is a professional ice hockey centre currently with the CHL's Laredo Bucks.

Junior career Edit

Korchinski began his juniors career with the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League in 2002. Korchinski would play four seasons for Yorkton scoring 169 points in 164 games, with his best season coming in his final season with the Terriers. During the 2005-06 season scored 33 goals and 46 assists for 79 points in 54 games.

Professional career Edit

After four years in junior hockey, Korchinski became a professional when he signed with the Central Hockey League's Laredo Bucks in 2006. Korchinski had a highly successful rookie season scoring 53 points in 58 regular season games and 17 points in 20 playoff games while leading Laredo to the Ray Miron President's Cup finals. Korchinski would also receive an AHL call up during his rookie campaign, playing two games with the San Antonio Rampage without notching a point.

Korchinski would was able to equal his point total of the year before scoring 53 points in 64 regular season games while notching 11 points in 11 postseason games. In October 2008, Korchinski signed to play with the Las Vegas Wranglers for the upcoming season. After nine games and scoring three points with Las Vegas, Korchinski was traded to the Elmira Jackals for defenceman, Chris St. Croix.

He retired during the 2010-11 season.
