The Chatham Cougars are the name of the athletic teams of Chatham University which is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The teams area based out of the Alpha Ice Complex. The school announced that is was going coed with its undergraduate programs for the 2015-16 academic year.
Women's Program[]
The Cougars have a team in the women's ECAC West league. The program dates back to the 1996-97 season when they played as a club level team. The program joined the ECAC West Conference for the 2002-03 season. Men's Program[]
The men's program was announced in December of 2015. The team was announced as beginning with the 2017-18. The team did not announce a conference affiliation but the school was announced as being a charter member of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference.
