The Central-West Junior Hockey League was a Junior "B" ice hockey league in Newfoundland, Canada. The league consisted of 3 teams that compete against each other until the playoffs started. After the conclusion of the playoffs, the winner competed against the St. John's Junior Hockey League in the Veitch Memorial Trophy Tournament for the right to play in the Don Johnson Cup.
The league was faced with having to be moved down to the Junior "C" level as the start of the 2013-14 season due continuous poor showings (0 wins in 9 tournaments) in the Veitch Memorial Trophy tournament. The Port-aux-Basques team's facebook page on December 2, 2013 posted that the Bishop's Falls team was not able to find a head coach and would not be taking to the ice for the 2013-14 season. According to a December 19, 2013 article on the nlhockeytalk.ca website two of the three members of the league (Port-aux-Basques and Stephenville) also faced fines of $400 for missing the Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador annual general meeting held in September of 2013. The league would not start its 2013-14 season as neither of the two fined teams would agree to pay the fines and the league missed the filing deadline to be eligible for the Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championships.
