A couple of distant cousins, Clarence and Manson Barr (discovered through genealogy research), are mentioned in a few Edmonton Journal Sports articles (found through Newpapers.com) as key players on Vermilion, Alberta, hockey teams (Vermilion Giants for one) between 1927 and 1933. After the third such article, I searched to see if there was any information on these teams online and this site seemed to be the only one with historical teams. Have you heard of these teams and the Big Four Hockey Loop Race for the Craig Trophy?
