Cassian Delsar first played for the Adelaide Avalanche of the Australian Ice Hockey League in 2004. During his first season he played 15 games and recorded two assists. Delsar continued to play for the Avalanche until 2007 where he joined the West Sydney Ice Dogs of the AIHL, playing 13 games before returning to the Avalanche for the second half of the season. In 2008 the Avalanche folded mid-way through the season, and as a result Delsar along with the rest of the team were transferred to the new Adelaide A's (now Adelaide Adrenaline) team which was formed to replace the Avalanche. Delsar moved to the Melbourne Ice in 2015 where he has been playing since then, this year winning the 2017 Goodall Cup with the team..
