Caitlyn Lahonen is an ice hockey goaltender for the St. Lawrence Skating Saints. Lahonen favors the butterfly stance
Of six goaltenders in camp, Lahonen was one of two that made the Prince Albert A&W Bears in 2008.  Prior to competing for the Bears, she played with the Warman Comets. Her father was a goaltender and she started between the pipes in novice. Lahonen would be awarded with Rookie of the Year honors from the Prince Albert A&W Bears for the 2008-2009 season.  Her career save percentage with the club was .925. During the post season, her save percentage was.937. Over two seasons with the Bears, her record was 29-1 . Her post season mark was 12-5 mark.
On October 15, Lahonen made a career high 30 saves versus Clarkson. She made 12 key saves in the third period including three breakaway stops to preserve a 1-1 draw.
