Byron Shutt (born October 26, 1955 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired hockey left winger. He was chosen 155th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft and 97th overall by the Toronto Toros in the 1975 WHA Amateur Draft.

He went on to play 65 games in the World Hockey Association with the Cincinnati Stingers in the 1978-79 season, scoring 10 goals and 7 assists.

He retired in 1983.

Byron is the brother of Steve Shutt.
