Bruno Zarrillo

Bruno Zarrillo (b. September 5, 1966 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is a former professional left winger.

Il Falco Nero ("The Blackhawk") moved at a young age to play in Italy. He began his career Latemar HC for a single season. He then joined HC Bolzano and he instantly became a hit, totalling 133 points in his first season and 114 the next; he won the Italian Championsip in 1990. From then on, Zarrillo became a regular member of the Italian National Team, for whom he played very well.

Zarrillo won another league title with Bolzano before leaving for Germany to join the DEL Kölner Haie. He split the 1996-97 season between Bolzano and Cologne; he joined SC Bern for the playoffs, helping them capture the NLA title in 1997. He spent the next four seasons with the Kölner Haie, and the next with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers. He then made a stop in the NLB with Sierre-Anniviers HC and SC Langenthal before returning to Italy with HC Milano, concluding his career with a last Serie A title with the Vipers.

Zarrillo played 170 games for the Italian National Team, participating in 8 World Championships in the Elite and First Division, as well as two Olympic Games participations, in 1992 and 1994.
