Brittany Smrke (born August 19, 1995) has competed for Team Ontario Blue at the Canadian National Women's Under 18 Championships in 2012 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. She played in the PWHL for the Stoney Creek Sabres for the 2012-2013 season. Smrke also committed to join the McGill Martlets for the 2013-2014 season.

Playing careerEdit

National Women's U18 ChampionshipEdit

In November 2012, Smrke competed for Team Ontario Blue in the Canadian National Women's Under 18 Championship, playing two games in the tournament. Smrke backstopped Team Ontario Blue to their first ever gold medal in the championship's history vs. Manitoba.[1]


Smrke played in the PWHL for the 2012-2013 season with the Stoney Creek Jr. Sabres. In 19 games, she posted a 1.51 GAA, 0.923 SV%, and 7 shutouts. Amongst all goalies, Smrke ranked 4th in GAA, 12th in SV%, and 2nd in shutouts.[2] Smrke also helped the Sabres earn a 2013 OWHA Provincal bronze medal in Ottawa.
