The Breezy Point North Stars were a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Breezy Point, Minnesota . The team commenced play with the 2012-13 season. They played in the North American 3 Hockey League at the Breezy Point Hockey Center.
On April 15, 2020 the Breezy Point North Stars announced they would not be participating in the 2020-21 season.[1] The team would apparently subsequently cease operations as the team's website is no longer active.
On April 28th the league announced that the inactive membership of the Breezy Point North Stars was purchased and that the Minnesota Loons will take to the ice for the 2021-22 season. The organization will continue to play out of the Breezy Point Hockey Center in Breezy Point, Minnesota[2]
