The team was in existence since 1961 until 1982 when the school was merged into the University of Massachusetts at Boston. The school was based in the Longwood Medical Area in Boston. The former location is now the Massachusetts College of Art.
The team played in ECAC's Division II and the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference during its existence. The team produced of what has been to date only one of three (Clarkson Golden Knights 1955-56 and Cornell Big Red 1969-70) undefeated-untied seasons in 1965-66.
The most noted player for the team was Bill Berglund.

Conferences[]
- College Division Independent (1962-1966)
- ECAC Division II (1966-1981)
Arenas[]
- No set home arena. But due to it's location along Commonwealth Avenue in Boston likely "home rinks" would have included Boston Arena (now known as Matthews Arena) (1962-1981) and Walter Brown Arena (1971-1981). Both of which are within a mile of the former campus location.
Head Coaches[]
- Eddie Barry (1962-1981)
