Blake Kessel (Born April 13, 1989 in Verona, Wisconsin) is an American defenceman playing for the University of New Hampshire.
He played junior hockey for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League in 2006-07 and 2007-08. He won the Defenceman of the Year in 2007-08.
Kessel played for the United States in the 2007 World Junior A Challenge.
In 2008-09 he started playing for the University of New Hampshire.
The New York Islanders chose him 166th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
