The Beauport Harfangs ("Snow Owls") were a junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 1990 to 1997. They played their home games at the Aréna Marcel Bédard in the Quebec City suburb of Beauport, Quebec. The team's first coach was Alain Chainey, who was an assistant coach with the Quebec Nordiques the previous season. The Harfangs played for seven seasons, before they moved from the suburbs to the big city in 1997, becoming the second edition of the Quebec Remparts.

NHL alumni[]

Alain Vigneault who coached the Harfangs in their last two seasons, has also coached in the National Hockey League. Joe Hardy who coached part of the 1992-93 season, also played briefly in the NHL, and was a local sportsman.

Nineteen players have also graduated to play in the NHL.
