The Basingstoke Buffalo are an ice hockey team from Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. They are members of the Southern section of the English National Ice Hockey League and play their home matches at the Planet Ice Silverdome. The Buffalo are the second senior team in Basingstoke behind the Basingstoke Bison who play in the Elite Ice Hockey League.
On the 25th of March 2009, the Bison released a statement confirming that they will be joining the EPL for the 2009/10 season. Entry to the EPIHL was confirmed on 15 April 2009, and Steve Moria took over as Head Coach the following day.
