Per Roger Anton Axelsson (born January 16, 1986), is a Swedish professional ice hockey player. He is currently a left winger for Timrå IK in the SEL.

Anton is the younger brother of P. J. Axelsson.

Playing careerEdit

Axelsson was drafted 192th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings while playing for Frölunda HC U-20 team. He advanced to the senior team for the 2005-2006 season and spent two seasons there before signing a two-year contract with Timrå in April, 2007.

He played for Sweden at the 2006 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.

He is often compared to his older brother as he is a strong skater with good hockey sense and two-way ability.
