Ann-Renee Desbiens (born April 10, 1994) is a women's ice hockey player that is currently competing for the Wisconsin Badgers.
Called up in the 2012 Clarkson Cup playoffs by the Montreal Stars to be the back-up goaltender for Jenny Lavigne, Desbiens appeared in her first CWHL playoff game on March 24, 2012. Despite allowing four goals, the Stars would prevail by a 5-4 mark.
Making her NCAA debut with the Wisconsin Badgers on October 19, 2013, she made 17 saves in a shutout win against St. Cloud State. She would win the first eight games of her NCAA career before registering her first loss, on January 11, 2014 against North Dakota.
She was a member of Canada’s National Women’s Development Team that won a gold medal at the 2015 Nations Cup (formerly known as the Meco Cup).
