Andrei Vasilyev (born March 30, 1972 in Voskresensk, Soviet Union) was a professional ice hockey left winger. He was drafted in the eleventh round, 248th overall, by the New York Islanders in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. He played sixteen games in the National Hockey League: fifteen over three seasons with the Islanders and one with the Phoenix Coyotes in the 1998–99 season.

Vasilyev played in the Russian Superleague Until 1994 when he moved to North America. He started out with the Denver Grizzlies and played mostly in the minor pros. From 1994 to 1997 he got into 15 games with the Islanders, scoring 2 goals and 5 assists.

In 1998 he signed as a free agent with the Phoenix Coyotes but only played one game for the NHL club. In 1999 he moved back to Europe for four years, followed by two seasons with the Idaho Steelheads. From 2005 to 2007 he finished his career back in Russia. He retired in 2007.
