Andrebeaulieu

Andre Beaulieu was a Canadian hockey player and coach. He was the head coach of the Minnesota North Stars for the end of the 1977-78 NHL season. He was born on January 22, 1940, in Montreal, Quebec.

He played junior hockey in Shawinigan, Quebec and then joined St. Mary's College in Winona, MD for four years (1961 to 1964). Beaulieu briefly played minor pro hockey in the late 1960s.

He was a high school and junior coach in Minnesota. Beaulieu coached the American team at the 1974 World Junior Championship.

In 1976 he joined the North Stars as an assistant coach and was elevated to interim coach in 1977-78. He also coached the Sioux City Musketeers in 1978-79, the Richmond Rifles in 1979-80 and 1980–81, and was an assistant with the New York Rangers in 1980-81.
