Amey Doyle grew up in Smiths Falls, Ontario. In 1997, she joined the McGill Martlets women's ice hockey program. During the 2009-10 McGill Martlets season, she was named interim head coach. Doyle has posted a career 55-9-1 lifetime coachong record behind the McGill bench.[1]

Playing careerEdit

Prior to McGill, Doyle played senior double-A in Brockville.[2] At McGill, she was a roommate of Kim St. Pierre and was her backup for three years.

Coaching careerEdit

Doyle was a physical education teacher at Kuper Academy and was the first ever women's hockey coach at the Academy in 2005. During the 2009-10 McGill Martlets season, she was the head coach.


At McGill, she earned a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education. She also completed her Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology at McGill in 2005. She currently runs her own hockey school called Doyle Hockey Development. For more information visit her website at[3]
