Amanda Tapp is a women's ice hockey player from Alberta. Currently, she competes for the Calgary Dinos of the Canada West conference in Canadian Interuniversity Sport women's ice hockey.

Playing careerEdit

As a member of the Calgary Oval X-Treme, Tapp competed in the 2004, 2007 and 2008 Esso Women's Nationals.[1]


On March 8, 2012, Tapp defeated Winter Games gold medallist Charline Labonte of the McMill Martlets in the first round of play at the 2012 CIS championships. Tapp made 20 saves in Calgary's 1-0 shutout of defending champion McGill.[2] In the next round of play, she helped the Dinos beat the rival Alberta Pandas by a 4-2 mark. In the 2012 CIS National Championship game versus the Montreal Carabins, she made 27 saves in a 5-1 mark. The Dinos raised the Golden Path trophy in just their third year back in CIS following a seven-year hiatus. In overall tournament play, she allowed just three goals in three games, while being honoured as the CIS championship tournament MVP.
