Alexander Galimov (born May 2, 1985 to September 12, 2011) was a Russian ice hockey player for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Kontinental Hockey League. He was the lone survivor of the 2011 Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash. On September 12, 2011, despite continuing therapy using all possible contemporary treatment, he passed away.[1]
