Alberta Junior Hockey League

An Ice Hockey Wiki article.

The Alberta Junior Hockey League is a Canadian Tier II Junior "A" ice hockey league. The current AJHL dates back to 1964. The league used to be capable of competing for the Memorial Cup, but now competes for the Royal Bank Cup. The founding teams in the league consisted of a series of local Junior B clubs that were tired of being raided by the Edmonton Oil Kings.
