Albert Hughes (May 13, 1901 – 1969) was a professional ice hockey left winger who played 60 games in the National Hockey League. Born in Guelph, Ontario, he played with the New York Americans.

He played senior hockey in Ontario and New York City from 1921 to 1927. In that year he was signed by the New York Americans and assigned to the minor pro Niagara Falls Cataracts. After three more years in the minors, Hughes was called up to the Americans.

He played 60 games over two seasons (1930–31 and 1931–32) with the Americans, scoring 6 goals and 8 assists.

After that season Hughes played in the minor pros until he retired in 1936.

He was the player-coach of the St. Louis Flyers in 1932-33 and 1933-34.
