Alan Robert Kuntz (b. June 4, 1919 in Toronto, Ontario - d. March 7, 1987) was a professional ice hockey player who played 45 games in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers.

He played junior hockey for Glebe Collegiate, Ottawa Jr. Senators, and the Guelph Indians from 1935 to 1939. In 1939-40 Kuntz played for the Washington Eagles and in 1940-41 for the Philadelphia Ramblers.

In 1941-42 Kuntz got a 31 game look in the NHL with the New York Rangers. He scored 10 goals and 11 assists min 31 games. He didn't get back in the NHL until 1945-46, when he played 14 games for the Rangers and scored just one assist. That marked the end of his NHL career.

He played minor pro hockey from 1945 to 1950 and then stayed with the Ottawa Senators from 1950 until they folded in 1955. Kuntz finished off the 1954-55 season with the Pembroke Lumber Kings and played in 1955-56 with the Brockville Magedomas. He retired in 1956.
