Al McLeod (born June 17 1949, Medicine Hat, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman who played 342 games in the World Hockey Association and 26 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Indianapolis Racers, Phoenix Roadrunners, Detroit Red Wings and Houston Aeros.

He played junior hockey for the Calgary Buffalos in 1966-67 and then played the next three seasons for the Michigan Tech Huskies. Undrafted by the NHL, McLeod signed as a free agent with the Detroit Red Wings in 1971.

McLeod turned pro in 1971-72 with the Fort Worth Wings and spent three seasons in the Red Wings' system. His only time with the big team was 26 games in 1973-74 when he scored 2 goals and 2 assists.

In 1974 McLeod jumped to the Phoenix Roadrunners of the World Hockey Association (WHA). He spent five seasons in total in the WHA, scoring 15 goals and 93 assists in 342 games. He retired in 1979 when the WHA folded.
