Adolf Insam (Born August 4, 1951, in Selva di Val Gardena, Italy) is an Italian former hockey player and current coach.

He represented his country at the World Championships on five occasions (including in the top pool in 1982 and 1983) and at the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo. Insam captained the Olympic team.

Insam spent his entire recorded club career playing for HC Gardena in the Italian Serie A.

After the conclusion of his playing career, Insam went into coaching. He coached the Italian senior and junior national teams between 1991 and 2002, including at the 1998 Olympic Games.

More recently he has enjoyed coaching stints in Italy with the Milano Vipers, HC Bolzano, and presently with HC Milano Rossoblu.
