Playing career 2009–present


Adam Zbořil (born on August 28, 1995 in Brno) is a Czech ice hockey center currently playing with the BK Mladá Boleslav of the Tipsport Extraliga.

His brother Jakub also plays ice hockey.

Club career[]

Adam Zbořil began his junior career with the HC Kometa Brno organisation. In the 2012-13 season, he played with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the QMJHL. In 2013, he moved to the SaiPa organisation. He made his senior debut in the 2014-15 season playing 3 games on loan with the KeuPa HT of the Mestis while also playing 39 regular season games and 7 play-off games with the SaiPa junior team.

The 2015-16 was Zbořil's last junior season. He played 37 games with the junior team of the SaiPa, 1 game with the SaiPa of the Liiga and 3 games on loan with the KeuPa HT of the Mestis.

In the 2016-17 season, he played with the IPK of the Mestis.

In the 2017-18 season, Zbořil played 56 regular season games and 4 play-off games with the HC Nové Zámky of the Tipsport Liga. He also appeared in one game with the HC Nové Zámky B of the Slovenská Hokejová Liga.

In the next season, he played 56 regular season games and 4 play-off games with the HC Nové Zámky of the Tipsport Liga and 3 regular season games and 3 relegation games with the HC Nové Zámky B of the Slovenská Hokejová Liga.

Since 2019, Zbořil plays with the BK Mladá Boleslav of the Tipsport Extraliga. He is signed there until the end of the 2021-22 season.

International career[]

Zbořil played with the Czech National Team at the 2012 World U17 Hockey Challenge and at the 2013 World U18 Championship.
