Adam Miller (born November 21, 1984 in Livonia, Michigan) is a professional ice hockey centre currently with Ässät of the SM-liiga.

Junior/Collegiate career Edit

Miller would play one season in juniors, suiting up with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League in 2003. In his one year with Des Moines, Miller scored 46 goals in 54 regular season games and three points in three playoff games. Miller would then play collegiately at Ferris State University in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. Miller would score 77 points in 146 games with the Bulldogs.

Professional career Edit

Las Vegas Wranglers Edit

At the conclusion of his senior season at Ferris State, Miller signed to play with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL and scored eight points in nine regular season games, while scoring 16 points in 20 post season games as Las Vegas advanced to the Kelly Cup Finals ultimately losing to the Cincinnati Cyclones in six games. Miller would resign with Las Vegas during the offseason before the 2008-09 season.

In his first full professional season, Miller would tally 13 goals and 31 assists in 54 games and scored four goals and nine assists in 18 playoff games as the Wranglers reached the National Conference Finals for the second straight year. Miller would receive one call-up during the season, playing in ten games for the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals, scoring one goal.

Miller would return to Las Vegas for a third year during the 2009–10 season and had a very impressive run, playing in all 72 regular season games and breaking franchise single season records in assists (53), points (86) and shots on goal (273). Miller would be named to the 2010 ECHL All-Star Game and was named to the All-ECHL Second Team. Miller's run with Las Vegas would end following the team's quarterfinals loss to the Utah Grizzlies, in which Miller notched one goal and two assists in the five game series.

Ässät Edit

In early June 2010, Miller signed a free agent contract with Ässät of Finland's SM-liiga.[1]
