This is the 2016-17 Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean Junior AA Hockey League season. A winner of each division/region plays for the 2017 Coupe Dodge. The point totals include "FPP" (Fair Play Points) which are derived from penalty minutes and suspension or lack thereof.

The league (along with most junior leagues in Quebec) uses what is called a Fair Play Point which is a bonus point in the standings if the team meets certain requirements in terms of avoiding penalties.

Seed 4 plays seed five in best-of-five preliminary round with the winner becoming the 4th seed and playing the 1st seed and the 2nd seed playing the 3rd seed in the best-of-seven semifinals. The semifinal winners meet in a best-of-seven championship series. and a spot in the 2017 Coupe Dodge
