- The conference announced that the Post University Eagles would become a scheduling partner for the 2017-18 season. The St. Anselm Hawks and St. Michael's Purple Knights will become full time members as their previous conference (New England Hockey Conference) would be going to an all Division-III membership starting with 2017-18. As part of the new alignment of teams each of the seven teams involved in the league schedule would play a total of 18 games (3 game against each opponent). Post University would not be a part of the conference post season tournament.

The top four teams qualify for a single elimination tournament with the first place team playing the fourth place team and the second place team playing the third place team. The semifinal winners meet for the conference championship.
